The new P3 Series 2 has been announced by Bowers & Wilkins, and it’s a sleek, modern pair of headphones which has been designed to improve on the award-winning P3 Series 1. Delivering pristine sound on the move, the headphones have been developed by engineers and designers with five decades of experience creating excellent design and acoustic performance.
The P3 Series 2 is super sleek, with small ear pads that sit comfortably against your face with its sheep leather ear pads – and the aluminium frame means it’s super lightweight and easy to take with you. It’s light, foldable and portable, meaning you can throw them in your bag and not worry about them taking up too much space.
In terms of audio, the frequency ranges from 10Hz to 20kHz, with 34 ohms impedance. Hollie Stephenson talks about the importance of good bass over at the official website, where she shows off the latest P3 Series and discusses her connection with music.
As well as high performance audio, the headphones come with a remote and microphone attachment, designed to work with an iPhone – but if you use Android, BlackBerry or Windows devices, the universal cable will ensure that the headphones and microphone work with all of those too. Simply take off one of the replaceable ear pads, and you’ll be able to swap out the wire.
The last pair of P3 headphones were really great, so we’re expecting a lot from the Series 2. You can pick them up immediately over at the official Bowers & Wilkins website, and they’re available for $149.99. That’s by no means cheap, but we expect these to be pretty great.
