Art, Music & Technology Collide at Panorama Fest on Randall’s Island July 22

If you are looking for something to do next weekend, then I present Panorama, a truly one-of-a-kind experience that will feature everything is that is near and dear to my heart: music, art, and technology.

The event will be taking place on Randall’s Island Park in New York City from July 22nd through July 24th. Yes, I’ve never been there either but just add it to your bucket list of new places to travel to this summer. Heck, you may even find a Pokemon as you wonder the grounds, so it’s a win-win.

Panorama is brought to you from the same people behind Coachella and the New Orleans Jazz Fest. Arcade Fire, Blood Orange, The Black Madonna, Alabama Shakes, DJ Harvey, Grace Potter, Holy Ghost!, Kendrick Lamar, and Sufan Stevens are just some of the 50+ artists already scheduled to perform.

Beyond the music and the food, one of the most intriguing parts of the festival will be the THE LAB, presented by the Verge and powered by hp. THE LAB is an interactive experience that will feature installations from digital artists that will combine art with technology. Visitors will get to touch, feel, listen and experience the collision of sound and technology in a unique open air setting. This is truly something that should not be missed.

Passes are already on sale and offer several options for guests from general admission passes to VIP. The passes, I will be honest are on the high range, but for what you get in entertainment.. it is worth it and will have you visiting a part of New York City that you probably wouldn’t have otherwise planned on going to this year.
